The film Minnale directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon which hit the screens in 2001, is considered as one of the most notable romantic comedy films made in the director's course of work. Gautham Vasudev Menon is known for his stylish filmmaking by constantly creating magic with the characters on screen. The film featured actor Madhavan, Abbas and Reemma Sen in the lead, with Vivek and Nagesh appearing in pivotal roles.

Replying to a Tweet made by a fan, celebrating 18 years of the film Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan had stated that he had watched the film in Ooty upon its release and that he still listens to the songs in the film.  Looks like the actor sure is fond of this Tamil film!
