While Bollywood has remade many Southern films, reports suggest that Telugu film-maker Suresh Babu has taken the rights from Rohit Shetty, to remake his blockbuster film, Bol Bachchan.

Venkatesh and Ram Pothineni will be reprising the role of Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan, while Anjali and Shazahn Padamsee will step into Asin and Prachi Desai's characters.

Inspired by the 1979 hit film Gol Maal, Bol Bachchan was 2012's romantic action comedy film. The film become one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time in India.
