Vijayan, too has played a role in the film.

Speaking about his experience of working in Bigil and alongside Vijay, I. M. Vijayan in an exclusive interview to Galatta says, "Acting with Vijay sir is an unforgettable experience. I have told Atlee sir that I have played alongside Maradona in Kerala. He is my favorite football player and we worship him like a God. I got the same feeling when I used to see Vijay sir as I'm his blind fan. He has the ability to shift his emotions for any situation - be it in a comedy sequence or a serious scene. That was highly visible during a fight scene. He was able to finish it up in a really quick manner in a single take. That’s probably why is the ‘Style Mannan’,".
