Bigil's first single, "Singappeney" released on 23rd July and Vijay's fans are elated over this powerful woman empowering song, sung by A.R.Rahman himself. The lyrics are penned by Vivek and one of his follower of the lyricist, had suggested an alteration in the lyric. It said, "'Un olividum kanaavai serpom va Adhai sagadhiyil vizhamal paarpom va'. Instead of paarpom va, 'kaapom va' would have been better ?" To the same, lyricist Vivek gave a wonderful explanation on choice of his words. Check out what he said in the tweet!
By now, all of you would have learnt that Bigil will have its story spun around women's football team and that Vijay would be coaching the team while Nayanarathara would be the physiotherapist. Vijay would first time be appearing in dual roles of a father and son, and featuring alongside each other. Bigil has been planned to release on deepavali, 2019.
Written and directed by Atlee Kumar, Bigil is the third collaboration between him and Vijay. Produced by AGS Entertainment, Mersal's cinematographer, GK Vishnu has cranked the camera for the movie.
