One of the biggest films scheduled to invade screens this Diwali in October, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s action sports drama, Bigil, will see the superstar in dual roles for the sixth time in his glorious career and as a father and son with both the characters set to appear in the same time period. With production being planned to be wrapped up on August 10, director Atlee and team are hard at work to make sure they deliver a well-packaged commercial entertainer with reputed production house AGS Entertainment leaving no stone unturned to make this a reality. Meanwhile, actress Indhuja Ravichandran, who plays the role of a football player in the Tamil Nadu women’s football team in the film, has now released a heartfelt emotional statement thanking her Bigil co-stars, friends and her family for making her birthday (August 1) a day to remember for a lifetime.
Taking to her Instagram page, Indhuja said, “I feel so blessed to celebrate another birthday and I thank God for making my life so wonderful. Much appreciation, thankfulness, and love are sent to each of you. Thank you to all my family and friends for the birthday wishes. You guys made my day... its a very happy birthday,". Indhuja will be playing a key role in Bigil alongside Varsha Bollamma, Reba Monica John, Gayathri Reddy, Amritha Aiyer and others as players in the Tamil Nadu women’s football team with Vijay as their coach. Although not much is known about their respective roles apart from being part of the TN women’s football team, we were teased with the first visuals of all of them in action in the film with the ‘Singappenney’ song composed by A. R. Rahman, released recently to a thunderous response. Bigil also includes Nayanthara playing the female lead followed by Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Soundararaja, Devadarshini, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji, Dheena among others in major supporting roles.
