Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil, which hit the screens for this Deepavali on October 25th is a massive hit not just within India but overseas too! Already, this has become the third Vijay movie to gross over US$ 1 million in centres across the USA. However, the craze for the movie seems to only be growing for we have gotten a report that Bigil would be screened in over 115 plus theatres at standard pricing, across the USA. The list of all the theatres is expected to be announced tomorrow. The addition of new theatres is expected to contribute to the overall gross, exceeding US$1 million.

Earlier, it came to light that Bigil was the winner among all the Indian language movies that had released in the US for this Deepavali. Directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment, Bigil stars Thalapathy Vijay in dual roles and Nayanthara is playing the female lead. AR Rahman has scored the music for this movie, which has cinematography by GK Vishnu and editing by Ruben. Bigil is the third collaboration between Vijay and Atlee, following Theri and Mersal. This movie has grossed over Rs. 200 Crores at the Box Office and is still going strong in all the theatres.

The cast of Bigil includes Jackie Shroff, Daniel Balaji, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Inthraja Robo Shankar, Amritha Aiyer and a number of other stars. There have been appreciations pouring in for Bigil from all quarters and we hear that filmmakers from different industries are vying to obtain the remake rights for their languages. Earlier today, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar too tweeted his appreciation for the movie!
