A highly awaited event in recent times for one of the most anticipated films coming out this year, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Bigil, releasing as a Diwali release in October, has massive expectations surrounding it. With the audio launch announced to take place today, Vijay had issued an official statement instructing all his fan clubs to not erect any banners and cutouts hereafter after the tragic and shocking death of Chennai-based techie Subashri a few days back. Now, a new video has been released on the Galatta YouTube channel in which we see how fans have adhered to Vijay’s words by not putting any banners or cutouts leading up to the Bigil audio launch scheduled to take place at the Sairam Engineering College on the outskirts of Chennai. The video shows fans thronging to the event in huge numbers while also drawing a comparison between the actor’s Sarkar audio launch and Bigil audio launch.
An action sports drama, Bigil marks Vijay’s third-time association with director Atlee after their Theri and Mersal, and this time under the reputed AGS Entertainment banner. Featuring music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, the film is a multistarrer and includes Nayanthara playing the female lead opposite Vijay after their Villu almost a decade back alongside a huge ensemble cast among whom are Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Gayathri Reddy, Amritha Aiyer, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji, Devadarshini, Dheena, Soundararaja, and many others in supporting roles.
