The long wait among fans to know the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 came to an end on Sunday evening at a grand gala event, which was telecast on Vijay TV apart from being streamed on Hotstar. Actor Aari Arujunan was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil 4 by the host 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan, with the victory being celebrated by the other contestants who participated on the show's latest edition, including fans, who have been wishing the star on social media post his huge triumph. Bigg Boss has turned out to be a big breakthrough for Aari and has made him a household name among the households across Tamil Nadu, with praises being showered upon him for his honest and straightforward gameplay. During the course of his stay in the Bigg Boss 4 house for over the period of three months, Aari, who encountered problems from the other housemates in regard to his approach and gameplay, went on to win the hearts of the people. 

Aari's win had been predicted by fans of Bigg Boss for a while now, with the host Kamal Haasan delivering the ultimate verdict that kicked off celebrations among the fans and the contestants. Post being declared as the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil season 4, Aari has now for the first time issued a statement on his Instagram page for his fans. Posing with the Bigg Boss 4 trophy, Aari wrote, "All the fame and recognition I have been getting is for you..." Aari has emerged as the victor after entering the Bigg Boss 4 as one among the sixteen contestants alongside Balaji Murugadoss, Rio Raj, Sanam Shetty, Suresh Chakravarthy, Anitha Sampath, Gabriella, Aranthangi Nisha, Jithan Ramesh, Vel Murugan, Rekha, Ramya Pandian, Shivani Narayanan, Som Shekar, and Samyuktha Karthik, including coming on top over the 2 wildcard entrants Archana and Suchitra.
