Bigg Boss sensation Kavin has enjoyed a huge fan following across Tamil Nadu, while also starring in a few television shows and films over the years. Kavin, who attained massive stardom post his stint on Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 in 2019, will be seen on the big screen next in the upcoming film, Lift, which is touted to be a supernatural thriller and will see him sharing screen space with actress Amritha Aiyer of Bigil fame. Directed by debutant Vineeth Varaprasad under Hepzi's Ekaa Entertainment banner, promotions for Lift have resumed, with 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander releasing the much-awaited 'Hey Bro' lyric video and the visuals showing sequences featuring the lead pair Kavin and Amritha Aiyer. 

The Kavin and Amritha-starrer Lift features music by Britto Michael, whose 'Hey Bro' song in the film has been sung by Krithika Nelson, Adheef Muhamed and Ben Kingsley. Tamil lyrics for the song have been penned by Nishanth, while Ben Kingsley has written the English rap lyrics. The 'Hey Bro' track is a foot-tapping, but breezy number and has pleasant beats that will no doubt go down well with the youngsters as it also has a peppy tune. Expectations for Lift have been high ever since the film went down on floors, with the response for the promos released up until now receiving a largely positive feedback. 

Regarding the release of Lift, leading Tamil distribution house Libra Productions had recently released a statement informing that the film's trailer is ready. Libra Productions' Ravindar Chandrasekhar had stated that the film's trailer will be announced once the release date is finalized. Libra Productions had tweeted, "We are quite coz of theatre not open and if delay is far then what ever we release now will become old. Can't wait seriously to show you all. Stunning trailer is ready. BIG INVITATION and surprise for fans waiting. Sorry for late disappointments. Hope you understand the business".
