Kaajal Pasupathi became a household name after appearing as a wild card entrant in the first season of Bigg Boss in 2017. Her stint in the hit Tamil reality TV show earned her a huge following while also starring in several films over the years including giving a memorable and critically-acclaimed performance in the 2011 hit film, Mouna Guru. With Bigg Boss 3 already nearing the end of its second week, Kaajal Pasupathi sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta to share her thoughts about the show’s ongoing season.

During the conversation, Kaajal Pasupathi spoke about Vanitha Vijayakumar saying, "She is speaking only for the sake of it. She questions her fellow contestant Madhumitha as to how she can remove the holy wedding thread (thaali) on her neck and walk into the show. Had Madhumitha asked the same question back to Vanitha, I wonder what would have happened. If I were in her position, without a shadow of a doubt, I would have asked Vanitha the same question. Her accusations of character assasination are totally contradictory to what she has been doing in the show."

Kaajal further went on to state that, "Vanitha never should have come into the film industry if she is finding fault with the people working there. Madhu could have asked her back outright all these questions and more. I know I would have surely had I been a participant on the show this season. How long do you think it would take for Madhumitha to question Vanitha back asking, 'You’re talking about me leaving back my thaali and coming into the show. How about you leaving three people and taking part in the show?' Isn’t it wrong? Madhumitha had gotten married only four months back and is this the way to talk to a newly married woman? This is too rude."

In her concluding statement, Kaajal Pasupathi added, "Vanitha must think about the reactions that would occur if Madhumitha spoke back in the same manner. Just because she is keeping quiet doesn’t give Vanitha the right to speak whatever she can. Did she even once drag Vanitha’s personal life into the context? Do you think she might not be knowing about Vanitha’s life? Now, that is decency. I wouldn’t have responded like Madhumitha had I been in her place. If Vanitha told to my face that I’m divorced and I’m not entitled to speak about culture, I would give her a long and fitting reply. Vanitha is truly lucky I’m not in the Bigg Boss house this season."
