A show that has enjoyed massive TRPs across the nation, Bigg Boss, in its Hindi version with Salman Khan as the host has seen a strong showing for 12 seasons till date. The show's regional versions subsequently as well went on to taste a similar success as well over the past few years. Likewise, Bigg Boss in Telugu too is gearing up for a stellar third season with the Star Maa channel now releasing a promo announcing the show’s new host as none other than Akkineni Nagarjuna. He will be taking over as Bigg Boss 3 Telugu host after Jr. NTR and Nani served in the role for the first two seasons.
Nagarjuna being announced as the Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 host has been debated for quite sometime now. There have been speculations and reports doing the rounds across the media and social networking forums with the show’s creators looking to bring in a major superstar on board. The Telugu superstar has a major presence not just in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, but across all south Indian states including a huge fanbase in Tamil Nadu while also being a popular name in North India as well. The Telugu Bigg Boss will be following the Tamil version of Bigg Boss being hosted by actor turned politician Kamal Haasan, who kicked off its third season last week amidst much hype and expectations after the first two seasons saw model turned actor Arav and actress Riythvika being chosen as the winners.
