Bharathiraja's next directorial, which will also be set in the backdrops of a village, is titled Padai Veeran and will star Vijay Yesudas in the lead. Interestingly, Bharathiraja--who has kept this project under wraps--will also be playing a key role in this project. Earlier, there were reports that the ace director will be the main antagonist, however, sources close to the director has denied it as just rumour.
