After a brief gap, yesteryear actress Bhanupriya is appearing in a Telugu film. She will play Jr. NTR's mother in his forthcoming film Dammu, produced by Alexander Vallabha under the banner of Creative Commercial.
Jr. NTR is playing a cop in this mass entertainer, directed by Boyapati Sreenu. Abhinaya is playing Jr. NTR’s sister while Thottempudi Venu is playing NTR’s brother in law. Trisha is the heroine and Karthika is the second lead.
"It feels to be good to be back on the Telugu screen. He (Jr. NTR) is full of energy and it is a different experience altogether to work with actors of this generation like Karthika Nair and Trisha. The movie will take some more time to complete I guess and I'm anxiously waiting for the release, so that I get to sign more films but there is not much to look forward to in my role, it's quite ordinary," Bhanupriya said in an interview.
