Popular Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, who will be making his Tamil cinema debut in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast, is now in the news after he allegedly got into a clash with an individual during the shooting of his upcoming film Thallumaala on Monday night. According to reports, a quarrel had broken out between the film's crew and the locals at Kalamassery HMT Road in Kochi where filming was progressing. The locals in the area had complained that the production team of Thallumaala was dumping waste on the nearby roads, which caused a disruption in the movement of the vehicles and led to traffic jams. 

Reports further state the argument turned into a fight when the locals questioned the matter with the crew of Thallumaala and that Shine Tom Chacko had allegedly attacked and injured one person. The police were notified about the escalating tension in the area and then arrived at the spot quickly. Authorities held discussions with both the groups and an understanding was soon reached. No police complaint has been filed. Thallumaala has leading Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas in the lead role, with Kalyani Priyadarshan cast as the heroine, while Shine Tom Chacko will be appearing in a pivotal role alongside others. 

Over the years, Shine Tom Chacko has impressed fans with his performances in Malayalam films like Kammatipaadam, Kayamkulam Kochunni, Ishq, Unda, Operation Java, Kuruthi, Kurup, including playing the lead role in the 2020 black comedy psychological thriller film Love. As for his role in Beast, it has been rumored for a while that the popular Malayalam actor will be appearing in a role with negative shades. Set to open in theatres this April, the film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures banner and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander is touted to be a mass action entertainer and will be catering to Vijay fans everywhere, with youth sensation Pooja Hegde cast as the female lead.
