Ala Modalaindi girl and popular Malayalam-Tamil actress Nithya Menen is in trouble in her home state, Kerala.
The Kerala Producers’ Association has imposed a ban on two of her Malayalam film films, Bachelor Party and Ustad Hotel, after she allegedly refused to talk to some producers who went to meet her at the location of Tatsamayam Oru Penkutty.
Meanwhile, the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) members have come in support of Nithya. AMMA leaders said that they would oppose any move to ban the artiste from movies.
“Nithya Menen is still acting in films. Our organisation will intervene if there is any move to ban her from acting in movies,” said the AMMA general secretary, Idavela Babu. Some members of the Kerala Film Producers Association (KFPA) were coming up with the ban issue just for getting media attention, he added.
