Having been made on a huge budget the Baahubali series of films went on to become one of the top grossing films in India, which also managed to satisfy the critics to a huge extent. Baahubali one and two impressed and excited audience of various categories and broke various box office records. The movies which was a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, was also dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam. Recently, there's a buzz doing the rounds is that Baahubali will be remade in Gujarati soon. If there is any truth to the reports, the popular YouTube duo, Nitin Jani and Tarun Jani have grabbed the Gujarati remake rights of this masterpiece.
The movies had a huge star cast like Prabhas, Rana Dagubbati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Nasser to name a few. Director, SS Rajamouli was appreciated widely for his creative and magnificent visuals and he also took proud in creating a world common and relatable for audiences throughout India.
With the national award winning music director, MM Keeravani's tunes, Madhan Karky also helped SS Rajamouli in the writing of the movies in Tamil.
