Awara in April
The dubbed Telugu version of Tamil hero Karthi's fortcoming Paiyya, directed by Lingusamy under the banner of Thiruppathi Brothers and Cloud Nine, has been titled Awara.
Director Linguswamy, Karthi, heroine Tamannah and producer Jnanavel Raja recently held a media briefing at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad and informed that Awara will grace the screens in April. The audio will be releasing in March third week.
Shot in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and several important towns in Andhra Pradesh, Paiyya is about some interesting events happenings in the lives of a pair of lovers. Linguswamy said he already shot the Tamil version and now re-shooting some scenes to suit the Telugu audiences and adding local flavour.
"I am really glad to be back here. My last film Yuganiki Okkadu was well received in AP and I am happy to come again with this Awara. Unlike Yuganiki Okkadu, it is pucca commercial entertainer. Linguswamy shot it in engagingly and in interesting manner. Like Madhavan who gained stardom here with Linguswamy’s Run, I am hoping to get the same image with this film," Karthi said.
