Set to take a blockbuster opening, the upcoming action comicbook superhero film, Avengers: Endgame releasing on April 26 is the sequel to last year’s blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War, which went on to make over $2 billion in global box office collections.

The 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Avengers: Endgame has been produced by Marvel Studios under Anthony Russo and Joe Russo’s direction with an ensemble star cast featuring names like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin also reprising their roles from last year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Avengers: Endgame also sees the resurrection of Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Letitia Wright and Evangeline Lilly after getting killed off in Avengers: Infinity War.

Meanwhile, directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo in an interview went on to reveal that the scene in the special look video showing Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) putting aside their differences will not feature in the film.

“That scene actually isn’t in the movie. You know we tell people that we manipulate the trailers in order to (inaudible) what happens in these films. That actually is not in the movie,” Joe Russo goes on to state in the interview.

When pursued further if what he was stating was indeed true, Joe sporting a sly smile says, “Am I joking?” with Anthony Russo chiming in to talk about the relationship between Tony Stark and Steve Roger in order to steer the conversation towards a different direction. However, Joe does add a final word about the said scene saying, “Maybe it is in the movie.” Check out the video below from the 04:57 mark:

It must be noted that this will not be the first time Marvel or the Russo Brothers will have cut an important moment from a film if the scene doesn’t get into the final cut of Avengers: Endgame. The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War featured the Hulk charging in towards the battlefield in Wakanda with the other heroes by his side. And, in the end, the Hulk doesn’t show up at all towards the film’s end and there is no scene that shows any of the heroes jumping into action amidst a heavily tropical background.
