We had already chalked August 15 up as Prabhas's  drama thriller Sahoo is releasing on that  day, but may we remind you that Bollywood is providing us with the regular dose of patriotism with two releases - John Abraham's upcoming Batla House and the star-studded Mission Mangal - both based on true stories. And now, the teaser to Mission Mangal has dropped.

Mission Mangal goes through the story of how India realised its dream of reaching the planet Mars through the project commonly referred to as Mangalyaan and has Akshay Kumar playing the role of a senior scientist. Though there have been copy wright claims against it, the script follows the story of Mangalyaan with the focus on the women engineers who worked for it movie. The cast includes Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menon - all of whom are featured in the teaser in their new avatars.

Mission Mangal joins the recent slew of movies like Sidharth Malhotra–Manoj Bajpayee movie Aiyaary, Alia Bhatt's Raazi, URI: The surgical strike, etc and has a patriotic hue. The music is by Amit Trivedi and the movie is produced under the banner of Fox Star Movies. Director Jagan Shakthi, who has the assistant director for movies like Thuppakki, Padman, English Vinglish, is calling the shots and the story is written by the Sajid-Farhad pair.
