A project that has generated massive curiosity for well over a year now, blockbuster Tamil director Atlee's directorial debut in Hindi has kicked off in Pune, with 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The untitled venture has created a huge interest ever since it was first revealed that SRK and Atlee would be teaming up for a film, with leading South Indian actress Nayanthara as well recently added to the cast. In that light, Shah Ruh Khan, Nayanthara and Atlee began filming their next on Friday (September 3) in Pune, with the shooting in the city set for the next 10 days after which the team will reportedly head to Mumbai. 

The Atlee-Shah Rukh Khan project has been one of the most talked-about ventures in recent times, with Nayanthara's inclusion in the project confirmed sometime back. In that light, it has also been revealed that the film will see SRK and Nayanthara sharing screen space with leading South Indian actress Priyamani, who too is reportedly shooting with the crew in Pune. Priyamani, who won the National Film Award for Best Actress in 2006 for her power-packed performance in Paruthiveeran, will be seen alongside SRK for the second time after she made a special appearance in the "1 2 3 4 Get on the Dance Floor" song in 2013's Chennai Express

According to reports, a promo for the SRK-Atlee film has already been shot and is expected to be released soon. It is being said that 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer's promo. Reports say SRK will be seen in dual roles in the film, which incidentally will also mark Nayanthara's Bollywood debut.
