2019 was a very good year for Dhanush, who is getting ready for his first release of 2020 - Pattas! However, the hoopla and furore over his 2019 movie Asuran is still going strong with this blockbuster completing 100 days at the theatres, yesterday! The Asuran team had a success meet for completing 100 days, earlier today and almost all the members of the team participated in it! Many of the actors, director and producer, shared their happiness over the movie's success and Ammu Abhirami, who played a prominent role in Asuran, seems to be on cloud nine!

Asuran 100 days is my biggest award says Ammu Abhirami

Ammu Abhirami took to her Twitter handle to express her happiness at Asuran's 100-days run in the theatres. She mentioned that she considers any movie running for 100 days is the biggest award an artist can get! She added, "This is my first and precious Award Big thanks to @theVcreations @VetriMaaran sir @dhanushkraja sir , Entire Team , Media , family, friends and Fans Feeling Happy (sic)". Ammu Abhirami shot to fame with her performance as a schoolgirl in the highly acclaimed thriller Ratsasan, which became a blockbuster hit.

However, Ammu Abhirami had a couple of releases before Ratsasan hit the screens and in 2019 alone, she had three releases. Ammu Abhirami made her foray into Tollywood with the Telugu remake of Ratsasan - Rakshasudu. She was seen as Mariyammal, the young Dhanush's love interest, in Asuran. Then, she was seen playing the younger Jyothika, in the recently released Thambi, which also had Karthi in the lead. 2020 has started off on a great note for Ammu Abhirami and we wish this young starlet all success in the years ahead!
