Sources claim that Kollywood actor Arya is in talks to feature in a Malayalam movie, Tipuvum Unniarchayum. Directed by Vayalar Madhavankutty, this film is said to be a biopic of the 'Tiger of Mysore', Tipu Sultan. However, the Naan Kadavul star has denied that he is in any talks with filmmakers in Mollywood. Meanwhile, the director has also said that the movie crew is in talks with Arya and that he likes the script.
 
Vayalar was initially planning to rope in the legendary actor Kamal Haasan to play the title role, which unfortunately did not work out.
