Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil has become one of the most anticipated projects in the Tamil film industry this year. Touted to be the first of its kind, Bigil is a sports action film written and directed by the ever-talented Atlee. The director has teamed up with Vijay for the third time after the success of Theri and Mersal. Bigil also stars Lady Superstar Nayanthara, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Kathir, Indhuja, and others in important roles. Bankrolled by AGS Entertainment the movie has AR Rahman as the music director.
The team of Bigil released the first single tilted Singappenney from the film and the track was an instant addict. The song sung by AR Rahman himself had the needed punch and has become a popular number especially among women. From the looks of Thalapathy Vijay from the lyric video, a terrific treat was on cards for the fans when they get to watch the song on the big screen but Atlee and his team are looking to take things a step higher than expected.
Our sources have hinted that Atlee has planned to bring in the man of the moment Isai Puyal AR Rahman on to the big screen for Bigil. The news we hear is that the hit song Singappenney will feature AR Rahman alongside Thalapathy Vijay in the film. It is going to be a wonder to catch AR Rahman and Thalapathy Vijay in the same frame in a movie. Notably, AR Rahman, Atlee and lyricist Vivek featured in the lyric video of Singappenney.
