‘The Mozart of Madras’ AR Rahman is a legend in the field of music and is renowned celebrity across the world for his work. This Oscar Award winner has composed music for songs across many different languages, for scores of movies and other projects. He is an unparalleled talent who has always showered nothing but love through his music. He is someone who hasn’t been part of any controversies and only lets his music talk. But something is really bothering in the recent times, he has once again established that he is not happy with his songs being remade. Recently, during a media interaction AR Rahman had stated that he is against remaking songs. Now when his song Masakali has been remade as Masakali 2.0, an upset AR Rahman has given a kick-ass sarcastic reply on his social media forum.

He has also asked his fans to listen to the original and not support the remake. His tweet reads as follows: "No short cuts, properly commissioned, sleepless nights, writes and re-writes. Over 200 musicians, 365 days of creative brainstorming with the aim to produce music that can last generations. A team of a Director, a Composer and a Lyricist supported by actors, dance directors and a relentless film crew. Lots of love and prayers - A.R. Rahman”
