Looks like Vijay's Thalaivaa has to cross too many hurdles in the state. The film released worldwide on Aug 9, but in TamilNadu alone it was banned due to tax exemption issue. Now the latest we hear is that the film has hit another roadblock. Theatre owners in the state have decided to release the movie on a profit sharing basis and not on MG basis. The decision was taken due to pirated DVDs being circulated all over the state. The Thalaivaa team is working hard to release the film this week.
