Kamal Haasan's Thoongaavanam is facing yet another hurdle. The online release of the film, which was scheduled on Dec 4, has been postponed indefinitely due to heavy floods caused by the torrential rains. The film, which graced theatres recently, has been appreciated by the audience and critics alike.
This bilingual action thriller starring Kamal Haasan and Trisha in the lead roles, also had Prakash Raj, Kishore, Sampath Raj, Asha Sharath, Madhu Shalini, and Yuhi Sethu in the supporting cast. Titled as Cheekati Rajyam in Telugu, the film is written by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajesh M. Selva. The film, which is an official remake of the French film 'Sleepless Night', is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Sri Gokulam Movies.
