Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s died by suicide in the second week of June and people are still yet to come to terms with it. There have been various theories regarding his death and the Police officials are investigating the case. Though it is said to be a suicide, the fans have opined that there is some sort of mystery behind this case and there have been numerous discussions on social media about this. Recently, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR complaint against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and it created a huge buzz among the people.

Following that, actress Ankita Lokhande has now come out and spoken about Sushant Singh Rajput for the first time. Notably, Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput shared screen space in the blockbuster Hindi serial, Pavitra Rishta. The duo were in a relationship from 2010 to 2016 after which they parted ways. While talking to noted journalist Arnab Goswami, Sushant’s ex-girlfriend, shared some of the unknown information about Sushant and told that Sushant should be remembered as a hero. She added that Sushant was not a guy who would take his life due to depression and doubted that there is something more to his death.

She said, “First of all, it was everywhere that he committed suicide due to depression. I want to tell everyone right now that Sushant is not a kind of a guy who will be in depression. He was not that personality. He was a happy go lucky guy. I don’t know what happened exactly, but I can tell you that he is not a depressed guy. I haven’t seen a person like Sushant in my life. He writes down his own dreams. I remember this. During our relationship, he’d write down his next 5 year plan and will work towards that.

Depression was such a wrong word to use. He can be upset about certain things, but was never the kind of guy with depression. He has been called bipolar. It is a big thing and not at all acceptable. I don’t want people to remember him as a depressed guy. I want them to remember him as a hero. For so many of us he was an inspiration. He inspired me in many ways. He taught me acting. He was such a talent. I know that. Without knowing anything about Sushant I do not know why there are so many theories being spread. I am so sorry to say this. It hurts.

This is the first time I am talking about Sushant and I want to say it. I want to tell people that he wasn’t a depressed man. He was a passionate guy. He was a child. He got excited for gulab jamun, chocolate and was always interested in smaller happiness. Yes, if at all his film career didn’t work out as he planned, he’d make short films or go and do farming, but will not decide to take his own life. He wanted to do farming.

I have seen this man working so hard for himself. He was one of the biggest stars in the serial industry and from there he’s reached up to this level. He was never stuck in one thing. He was creative and was thinking about various things. He tried films and got into it after a wait. He waited for 3 years to get his initial breakthrough in cinema. Everybody doesn’t have patience. I wanted to tell that he was never money minded. pHe was driven by passion and creativity. Money was never an agenda for him. His passion towards life was much bigger.

Both, success and failure never affected him. Dhoni is a subtle man who reacts normally to both, wins and losses. Sushant was like that. He was very balanced. He cannot die for depression and that is for sure.” These words, coming straight from Ankita have made the fans very emotional and a lot of people have extended their support to her. We will have to wait for a few more days to know how the case unfolds. Stay tuned.
