Baraguru Ramachandrappa's Kannada film Angulimala has been selected to be screened at the Kolkata International Film Festival and Rafi Peer 3rd Pakistan International Film Festival. The Kolkota Film Festival starts on November 10, while the Rafi Peer festival is from December 27. This is the first time a Kannada film will be screened in Pakistan. Angulimala will be the first Kannada film to be screened in Pakistan. The film is about the conversion of murdered Angulimala into a good man by Lord Buddha. It is also a take on the modern terrorism problem. Raghu Mukherjee plays the role of Buddha and Saikumar plays the role of Angulimala.
