The upcoming fourth season of the smash hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss, was announced officially last week, which has since left fans everywhere excited. A couple of short promo teasers featuring 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan as the host were released and have had fans happy considering he spiced up the proceedings to a great extent in the first three seasons, all of which turned out to be phenomenal successes. Scheduled to be telecast once again on Vijay TV, there is quite a lot of speculation as to who will be contesting in the fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil. Shivani Narayanan, Ramya Pandian, KPY Pugazh, KPY Dheena, Shilpa Manjunath and Suriya Devi are some of the names that are said to be in contention as of now.

Meanwhile, Bigil actress Amritha Aiyer's name had cropped up to be one among the contestants in Bigg Boss 4 Tamil after the teaser had released. The popular actress soon clarified in a short video that she was not going to participate in the show with a caption, "Why are random people adding my name in the big boss list." Having said that, she has now teased fans of her possible participation in the show during a Q&A chat session on her Instagram page. She answered various queries from fans and one among them was whether she would take part in Bigg Boss 4 to which she replied in her cute trademark smile saying, "I don't know. Let it remain a suspense." Although not confirmatory, the reply has left many fans wondering if she would indeed go on to be announced as a contestant on Bigg Boss 4.

Amritha Aiyer's biggest moment in her career came when she was cast in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's blockbuster, Bigil, released last year under Atlee's direction. The film had her playing the role of a footballer named Thendral and saw her go the extra mile physically to tap into the nuances of the character. Having also appeared in films like Padaiveeran and Kaali, she was all set to be seen in Telugu as well in 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela, with its release halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Up next, she will feature in Lift opposite Kavin in Tamil including Ram Pothineni's upcoming action thriller, Red, in Telugu.
