The Tamil remake rights of Hindi film 'Nil Battey Sannata' was bought by Dhanush under his Wunderbar films banner. Titled as Amma Kanakku, the film went on floors in January and it completed its production in 50 days. The latest buzz is that Dhanush has played a short cameo role in this film which is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The story of Amma Kanakku is about a single mother and her daughter. The film stars Amala Paul, Revathy and Samuthirakani in important roles.
