Hardcore film buffs weren't completely impressed with the trailer and we will have to wait until the 28th of August for the film to release.

In an unfortunate manner, the trailer of Sadak 2 has become the world’s most disliked trailer with over 2 million dislikes. This harsh reception comes after the untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput, which has created huge discussions and debates about nepotism and the influence of star kids. Sadak 2 has become the most disliked trailer in the world, overtaking the 2016 supernatural comedy film, Ghostbusters, which had 1.1 million dislikes. Sadak 2 is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, who is blamed by thousands of fans to be one of the reasons for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Mahesh Bhatt’s name has been on the headlines ever since Sushant’s death and the fans have been speculating various theories about it.

Through this move, the fans have made it clear that they would boycott Mahesh Bhatt’s movies. This backlash on Sadak 2’s trailer has created a huge buzz on the internet. Talking about Sadak 2, the film features Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles, while Gulshan Grover, Makarand Deshpande, Jisshu Sengupta, Priyanka Bose, Mohan Kapoor form the supporting cast. Produced by Mukesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films, Sadak 2 has music scored by Jeet Gannguli, Ankit Tiwari, Samidh Mukherjee, Urvi, Suniljeet.
