After acting in pivotal roles in Thala Ajith’s Vivegam and Chiyaan Vikram’s Kadaram Kondaan, Akshara Haasan would be making her debut as a solo lead with the upcoming Tamil film, Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu, directed by Raja Ramamurthy. This film marks the debut production of popular digital media, Trend Loud. Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu has cinematography by Shreya Dev Dube, while the music and editing departments are handled by Susha and Keerthana Murali respectively. The film's songs are penned by lyricist Madhan Karky. Akshara Haasan will be supported by a good set of talented actors including Usha Uthup, Malgudi Subha, Queen fame Anjana Jayaprakash, Shalini Vijayakumar, Janaki Sabesh, Kalairani, Suresh Menon, Siddhartha Shankar, George Maryan and others.

The makers have now released the official teaser of the film which looks simple yet intriguing. The whole teaser features just two shots of Akshara Haasan, but has been driven through the voice over audios which create a good curiosity. The makers haven’t let out anything about the film’s core premise and the suspense is maintained. From what we see, it looks like the film will focus on the life of Pavithra (Akshara Haasan) who has a difficult time fulfilling the societal expectations of her.

Akshara’s sister and actress Shruti Haasan released this teaser through her social media page and wished the team for the success. The film's shooting is said to be complete and the makers are currently working on the post production. The makers are confident that Akshara's character in the film will be relatable to the audience. Talking about Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu, director Raja Ramamurthy says, "The story revolves around a girl from a conservative family who is in that awkward stage between being a curious teenager and a smart woman. She struggles to strike a balance between societal expectations and personal desires.

This is a female-centric film in the truest sense not just because of its concept but because the cast and crew are predominantly women, this was a conscious decision to capture the essence of the female gaze. The protagonist’s role will be extremely relatable to the millennial audience and I’m elated to have Akshara Haasan play it." Check out the newly released official teaser of the film here:
