Actor Ajith will next be seen in the highly anticipated courtroom drama film, Nerkonda Paarvai, releasing on August 8, which has been directed by H. Vinoth under Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner. Lovingly called as ‘Thala’ by his fans, Ajith’s previous film, Viswasam, has gone on to become one of the blockbusters in his illustrious career with Sathya Jyothi Films going on to make glorious commercial returns. Composer D. Imman’s songs in the film too went on to become chartbusters and are still ruling the playlists among fans.

Now, Imman has released an emotional statement on his Twitter page saying he is humbled by the number of cover versions and videos that have been made on Viswasam’s songs. Songs like ‘Adchi Thooku’, ‘Kannaana Kanney’, ‘Vettikattu’ namely have become massive hits with both the young and the elderly in the Viswasam album and still continued to have many listeners. Distributed by KJR Studios, the film also had Nayanthara playing the female lead, Anikha Surendra, Jagapati Babu, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah among many others in vital supporting roles with cinematography by Vetri and editing by Ruben.
