Ajith Kumar's Valimai is slated to release in theatres on February 24 and we are just 4 days away from witnessing this massive action entertainer on the big screen. Producer Boney Kapoor has made sure that the film gets a wide release like never before on a record number of screens. Interestingly, Valimai is Ajith Kumar's first ever pan Indian film and it will have a release in 4 different languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. To hype up the expectations and buzz among the audience, the makers have been releasing short promos on a daily basis and on that note, two new promos have been unveiled today (Feb 20).

One of the two recent promos is a short teaser of the emotional Mother song, capturing the moments between Ajith Kumar and Sumithra who plays Ajith's mother in the film. The promo which has an emotional vibe to it has turned viral on social media. The song has already fetched a good reception from the audience, primarily due to Yuvan Shankar Raja's beautiful composition and Sid Sriram's soulful rendition. It looks like the Mother Song will have vital importance in the film. The other promo is a short action packed teaser.

Directed by the young and promising H Vinoth, Valimai has action scenes choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan and his work is going to be one of the biggest highlights of the movie. Valimai, with a runtime of 179 minutes (2:59), has been censored with a U/A certificate. Valimai will also be the film that is going to bring back the audiences to the theatres after the third wave of the Covid 19 pandemic. Valimai has RX 100 fame popular Telugu hero Kartikeya playing the antagonist, while Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, Sumithra, Bani, Raj Ayyappa, Pugazh, and others form the supporting cast.

Ace cinematographer Nirav Shah has cranked the camera for this stylish action entertainer that has editing by Vijay Velukutty and art direction by Kadhir.
