One of the most awaited movies of this year is Adithya Varma, the Tamil remake of the cult Telugu blockbuster hit Arjun Reddy, which skyrocketed the career of Vijay Deverakonda. Adithya Varma will mark the Cinema debut of Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv, who will be pairing up with another debutante - Banita Sandhu, in this movie. Priya Anand will be reprising Jia Sharma's role from the original. This movie is directed by Gireesaaya, who was the co-director of Sandeep Vanga, who helmed the original. After a couple of changes in the release date, this movie is finally hitting the screens on November 22nd!

Last week's big releases - Vishal's Action and Vijay Sethupathi's Sanga Thamizhan have also gotten only a very lukewarm response from the audiences and will not be posing a major threat for Adithya Varma. Arjun Reddy was remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh and turned out to become a blockbuster for hero Shahid Kapoor. Similarly, the expectations for Adithya Varma are very high and Chiyaan's fans are also expectantly waiting to see how Dhruv lives up to all these expectations. Radhan, who scored the music for Arjun Reddy, has been tasked with scoring the music for this movie also. Anbu Thasan will be seen playing Dhruv's friend in this movie.
