Ammoru was a cult classic Telugu film which was also dubbed in Tamil as Amman. It is a 1995 mythological fantasy film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. Amman was produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy under MS Arts Unit. Amman also had Soundarya and Suresh in the lead roles with Ramya Krishna, Rami Reddy, Vadivukkarasi, Kallu Chidambaram and Babu Mohan portraying supporting roles. The film proved to be a launchpad for Soundarya, who went on to become a popular actress in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Despite not having a big star cast, the film was shot twice and took three years to complete with the budget of 1 cr 80 lakhs. But as expected the film turned out to be a phenomenal success. Even today, the film gets good TRP when it is aired on Television.  The film revolves around Bhavani, who is a devotee of goddess Ammoru, the rest of the film revolves around her devotion towards the goddess who saves her from evil forces. The received positive acclaim for visual effects and was remade in Bengali as Debi. Remember Baby Sunaina? The girl who played the Balatripurasundari alias Amman role in the film? It is rumoured that Baby Sunaina will be part of Bigg Boss Season 4 Telugu. The title logo of this season was recently launched and now it is speculated that Sunaina might be part of the contestant list. 
 
Actress Sunaina recently made a strong comeback into films with Samantha’s recent hit film Oh Baby. Though Usha Kiron Movies cast her as Tarun’s sister in Manasu Mamatha, it’s Kodi Ramakrishna’s Ammoru that brought her fame. She did 25 films and after Bala Ramayanam, she didn’t take up any project. Sunaina is the youngest of three children in her family. She completed MBA and married her friend who was a senior in her college. She worked for a year in a regular 9 to 5 job but in that one year she made all the excuses in the world to abstain from work. Then she quit her job and tried dubbing and with those contacts, she became a film journalist. She also owns her YouTube channel now. Let’s wait and see if she really takes part in the Bigg Boss reality show or not.
