After playing a number of second lead and character roles in the films like Shambo Siva Shambo (2008) and Dhammu as Jr. NTR's sister, actress Abhinaya has graduated to a heroine.
She has signed a Telugu film titled Chandrudu in which she plays the heroine for the first time. She will be seen opposite comedian turned hero Krishnudu in Chandrudu, a remake of Bollywood hit Dasvidaniya (2008). More details are awaited.
