As Aamir Khan is preparing for the release of Thugs of Hindostan the distributors have hiked up the ticket prices by 10%. Prices for tickets surge up to 1,500 in premium multiplexes and close to 200 in single screen theatres. Aamir Khan recently opened up on the situation where he had said that “I can understand. It is an expensive film.

Personally, I am always for tickets to be cheaper. I think we should have theatres that are economical and people should go and watch the film in the theatre.” The film is made on a whopping budget of 300 crores. Aamir Khan's films have opened a new market for Bollywood in China and the film is slated to release in China early next year.
