For a while now, Karthi’s Kadai Kutty Singam, produced under his brother Suriya’s 2D Entertainment banner and directed by Pandiraj with music by D. Imman has been debated for a July 13 release.
Kadai Kutty Singam, which is also coming out in Telugu as Chinna Babu will feature an ensemble cast namely Sathyaraj as Karthi’s father.
Meanwhile, the upcoming rural entertainer also starring actress Sayyeshaa as the female lead has now reportedly cleared the censor process with a clean ‘U’ certificate.
Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar as known to all by now is playing Karthi’s sister in the film alongside Arthana, Bhanupriya, Soori among others in supporting roles.
That being said, it seems Kadai Kutty Singam will not likely be coming out alone as a big contender in the form of the highly anticipated spoof film, Tamizh Padam 2, could reportedly be coming out on the same date.
As per latest reports, Tamizh Padam 2, which had its audio launched today (June 29) is also in contention to come out on July 13.
Directed by C. S. Amudhan under the Y Not Studios banner with music by Kannan, TP2 has massive expectations surrounding it with its rib-tickling teaser and promotional stills featuring Shiva and Iswarya Menon getting a double thumbs up from fans.
