As known already, the ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha starrer, 96, produced by Nandagopal’s Madras Enterprises faced few release issues prior to the film hitting screens.
That said, the Nadigar Sangam has now an official statement saying Nandagopal still has to pay the salaries to Vishal for Thupparivaalan, Vijay Sethupathi for 96 and Vikram Prabhu for Veera Sivaji. The South Indian Artistes' Association further added the Madras Enterprises chief has disregarded making the said payment to the stars quoting the tribulations the films faced during the time of their release. In conclusion, the members of the Nadigar Sangam have been asked not to take part in any future Madras Enterprises ventures.
