Suriya's sci-fi thriller 24, which is based on the time travel concept, seems to have set high records for Suriya. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film has Suriya in triple roles with the antagonist Athreya being the key highlight. The film has grabbed 26.40 Cr across Tamil Nadu in its opening weekend and recorded a box office total of approx. 55 Cr, the highest ever for a Suriya film.
The latest is that the film has crossed the 100 Cr mark overall--with 72 Cr in India and 37 Cr overseas.
Looks like the actor is setting the bars high for himself.
