It's a big day to remember indeed as Sivakarthikeyan has completed 11 glorious years in Tamil cinema and has gone on to become one of the most sought-after names in the film industry. The leading actor-producer is entering 2023 with several big projects lined up among which his Maaveeran is gearing up for a grand release in the coming months. Being directed by Madonne Ashwin of Mandela fame, a major chunk of shooting on the upcoming film has already been completed and the team has now released a video on the special occasion of Sivakarthikeyan completing 11 years in Tamil cinema.
In the video, we can see Sivakarthikeyan joining in on the celebrations hosted for him by the Maaveeran team, with the cast and crew members in attendance and wishing him on the special occasion.The actor along with director Madonne Ashwin, producer Arun Viswa, cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna, actress Saritha along with the rest of the team and are seen in high spirits and congratulating SK on his glorious journey in cinema, while also wishing him to continue his pursuit to the top. This latest video has once again cast away the rumors of Maaveeran's production coming to a halt after a reports a few days back stated as such after which the film's team denied the hearsay in an official statement.
Maaveeran will see Sivakarthikeyan paired with Viruman actress Aditi Shankar and is being produced under the Shanthi Talkies banner. The film also has acclaimed filmmaker Mysskin and Telugu actor Sunil of Pushpa fame reportedly playing villains, while Saritha and Yogi Babu are appearing in crucial roles. Apart from Maaveeran, SK"s long-awaited sci-fi venture, Ayalaan, is currently in post-production stages and is expected to come out sometime later this year. the actor is gearing up to begin shooting for the tentatively titled SK 21 opposite Sai Pallavi under Rangoon fame Rajkumar Periasamy's direction and the film will be jointly produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) in collaboration with Sony Pictures Films India. Sivakarthikeyan had also revealed sometime back that he will be joining blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu and the news of their team up has undoubtedly left fans mighty excited.
