The hyperlink story narration has worked well in favour of Lokesh Kanagaraj as it transports you to the world that the story is set in.

Dialogues penned by Lokesh are crisp with occasional humour. It has complemented the mood of the film well.

Screenplay of Maanagaram is a huge plus as it kept the audiences glued to their seats and there was never a dull moment on screen.

Sundeep Kishan is a revelation as the rugged style he brings on screen perfectly fits the character.

Shri has given his best and he has conveyed shock, desperation and dejection with ease.

This is a comeback for Regina Cassandra who last put up a stellar performance in Rajathanthiram.
