Meena was last seen in the 2011 action movie, Thambikottai with a huge star cast such as Narain, Prabhu, Poonam Bajwa, Santhanam, Sangeetha, MS Bhaskar and Manobala to name a few. Said to be a Tamil - Malayalam bilingual, Shylock, The Money Lender was launched yesterday (16 July) and it was revealed that Rajkiran is all set to make his Malayalam debut and along with that Meena will be playing Rajkiran's pair in the movie. It is after 28 years, that the two are paired up after En Rasavin Manasile 1991 and Pasamulla Pandiyare in the year 1997.

With Shylock starring Megastar Mammootty, Meena and Rajkiran as the leads, the movie is directed by Ajai Vasudev, which is written by Aneesh Hameed and Bibin Mohan. Ajai Vasudev has earlier collaborated with Mammootty in the movies like Rajathi Raja and Masterpiece in Malayalam. Shylock will release during Christmas this year.
The movie is bankrolled by Goodwill Entertainments with tunes composed by Gopi Sundar. The rest of the cast members are yet to be revealed by the crew. Interestingly, Shylock is the third consecutive film that Ajai Vasudev isn directing Mammootty.
