He added that he had full faith in the movie. Rejisha approached the production house Friday Films with the story and she was willing to take lot of extra efforts for its success, he said. Rejisha played the character Sara Joy in June. The movie presented her life as she grew from a teenager to a young lady.

Rejitha was a successful TV host in Malayalam channels before she made her film entry. She bagged the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her role in her debut film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam.
