All eyes are on the Mohanlal-starrer Rs 1000 core Randamoozham movie announced a few years back by director VA Shri Kumar Menon. Touted to be the most expensive film ever made in Indian cinema, Jnanpith award winning Malayalam novelist MT Vasudeven Nair had written its screenplay. But, it suffered a major setback when the writer backed out of the project citing that the contract had elapsed.

The makers didn't start shooting even four years after signing the contract, alleged Nair while demanding the makers to return the script. Responding to the controversy on the project, Mohanlal stated that he never said he is playing the character Bhima in Randamoozham.

"I am also clueless about the launch of the project. Its a big question mark. I never said I am playing Bhima in the movie. First, let it happen. I can't give any statement on it since I have no authority to make one," said Lal at the press meet of Lucifer. The grand event was attended by director Prithviraj, Manju Warrrier, Tovino Thomas and producer Antony Perumbavoor. Mohanlal's most awaited film of this year, Lucifer is finally hitting the screens on March 28.
