A film that is eagerly being awaited by everyone, the shooting of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Jailer is progressing at a brisk pace, with blockbuster production banner Sun Pictures dropping a massive surprise for fans. A special making video from the shooting spot has now been released on Friday, November 18, showing the iconic actor in discussion with director Nelson Dilipkumar along with the crew during the filming of an important sequence. This latest glimpse from Jailer screams action and mass loaded together and gives us a look at what can be expected when the film comes out in theatres sometime next year. 

Jailer is currently one of the biggest Tamil films in production and Sun Pictures is leaving no stone unturned in making it a visual spectacle as can be seen in this latest video, which does not reveal much of Rajinikanth in his complete form, apart from a few flashes and glimpses of the star. Touted to be a mass masala action entertainer, the upcoming film will see the 'Superstar' once again delivering the big punches on the big screen after Annaatthe, and expectations are as high as can be. Jailer marks the fourth time Rajinikanth is collaborating with Sun Pictures after their Enthiran (2010), Petta (2019), and Annaatthe (2021).

Rajinikanth will be sharing screen space with Ramya Krishnan, Taramani and Rocky fame Vasanth Ravi, comedian Yogi Babu and Malayalam actor Vinayagan in Jailer, while Kannada superstar Dr. Shiva Rajkumar has also joined the film’s star cast on Thursday. The inclusion of the Kannada actor has no doubt bolstered the film's value and it will be interesting to see him in action alongside Rajinikanth for the first time ever. Director Nelson Dilipkumar too will be looking to come out all guns blazing after his Beast earned mixed reviews despite the film turning out to be a box-office success. Jailer also includes music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander and fans are looking forward to witnessing his magic once again along the lines of Petta and Darbar.
