Earlier today (May 31), Dulquer Salmaan made an important clarification on his official Twitter page and asked people not to be misguided by any impersonation. It looks like quite a few people have created fake profiles of Dulquer Salmaan on the currently popular Clubhouse app and several people have been misguided by the fake profiles. Clubhouse app is becoming popular among the youth audience during this lockdown period and it is an app where users can converse and communicate in voice chat rooms. Clubhouse is an audio-only app. To put an end to the online impersonation, Dulquer Salmaan took to his Twitter page to post his clarification.

He warned the impersonators and felt that it was not cool to do such activities. Dulquer's tweet read, "So, I am not on on Clubhouse. These accounts are not mine. Please don’t impersonate me on social media. Not Cool !". This clarification will now give a better picture for the people who were unaware of the authenticity of the profiles on Clubhouse. On the acting front, Dulquer's next release will be Salute, which is directed by Rosshan Andrrews of 36 Vayadhinile and Mumbai Police fame. Salute will feature Dulquer Salmaan in the role of a police officer and the film's teaser opened to a very good response from the fans.

Salute will have music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Salute will feature Diana Penty as the female lead, while Manoj K Jayan, Saniya Iyappan, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy would be seen in supporting roles. Dulquer is also awaiting the release of his highly anticipated next, Kurup, which is a biographical crime drama. Kurup is based on the life story of Sukumara Kurup, one of the most wanted fugitives and the film has got high expectations among film buffs.

Dulquer has also completed his next Tamil film, Hey Sinamika, which is directed by popular dance choreographer, Brindha Master. Hey Sinamika will feature Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari as the female leads, with music scored by Govind Vasantha. While these three films are completed, DQ will be teaming up with ace filmmaker R Balki for a psychological thriller which will go on floors after the pandemic.
