Recently, there has been quite a buzz in Mollywood, as to who will star in the sequel to Mammootty's Samrajyam. It was said that Mammukka's son Dulqar Salman would be the natural choice to play the Son of Alexander in the sequel, and other big names like Prithviraj, Vikram and Vijay were also doing the rounds! However, at the launch of the movie in Dubai, the unit has announced that it would indeed be Unni Mukundan, who would be playing that role! The interesting part is that, established commercial Kollywood director Perarasu will be helming this movie! Unni's movie earlier this year, Mallu Singh under Vysakh's direction, went on to make it big at the box office. The movie is all set to go on floors in a couple of weeks, and is also expected to star Trisha in a major role! The movie has been titled Samrajyam II - Son of Alexander.
