TV star Rafeeq Ravuther is all set to direct a movie titled EMS-um Penkuttiyum, based on Benyamin's award winning novel Aadujeevitham. This film will feature Sreenivasan, Kaniha, Narain and Amala in the important roles. Rafeeq has said that his television stint made him passionate about filmmaking. In a recent interview with a leading newspaper he said, "My television programme, which initially focused on the migrants from Kerala, soon included people from Tamil Nadu, Sri Lanka and other the north Indian regions who faced similar situations. Eventually, the programme started focusing on the issues of migrants on an international perspective."
